SpongeBob's New Opening Theme?

    Do you think there should be a NEW opening theme to SpongeBob? I like the song, but I think that the backgrounds should be from different episodes. What do YOU think?

    Yeah. However, that opening theme was seen for thousands and thousands of hours.

    I think they should just stick to the original, I don't want SpongeBob to turn into the next Kim Possible...

    Before season 4 premiered, I imagined SpongeBob having a new intro that included clips from different episodes. However, there's no need for them to tamper with the theme song they've always had.

    I think that Spongebob's theme is an all-time TV classic, so it should stay the way it is. However, I think that they'll make a new one just for WhoBob WhatPants? because in the commercial I saw on Nick they have painty going "who bob what pants!" like in the theme song!

    Did anyone see the commercial for WhoBob Whatpants? they started to show it last friday!

    Well, yeah. But this one looks too awesome SpongeSebastian, you have to see that commercial! I got so excited that I was jumping up and down! I bet that they'll show it again tomorrow after the new episode, I'm almost sure

    I totally agree with this and I was thinking it for long time. My idea is to have the theme song remixed a bit and to change that boring opening, by changing it with a new clip. For example I imagine Spongebob diving in the sea from the exotic island over Bikini Bottom, and falling on the Krusty Krab sign. Then he finds Mr. Krabs and takes him to Sandy's house not by walking there, but swimming. Then Sandy wears her suit and follow Sponge and mr. Krabs swimming to patrick's house, where the three of them are trying to open his rock. The rock finally opens and unattaches from the earth taking Pat, Sponge, Krabs, Sandy to the Squidward's roof, where he is lying. Squid, scared, hops and rock takes him, too, with the others to Spongebob's pineapple, where gary waits for them. The end!!!

    which is how you can tell they don't want to change their theme song. since it's a special, they'll change it. so they'll also change it for this special (Who Bob What Pants?), or at least, i hope they do.
