You see, none of that is based off of fact. Just because you think it is going downhill, doesn't mean it's going to end. Nickelodeon could probably care less about what big fans say. They just want to please the majority of people. Do you honestly think that a show, whose popularity is still through the roof, is going to end next year?

So basically, you are wrong. I'll go with the 100% chance that it won't end next year.

It does matter about if its popular or not. But I heard that Tom Kenny and Bill **** are getting a little tired of doing spongebob and Clancy Brown is retiring so I don't know how long it will go on. I'd LIKE it to last until 2014/2015. But that would be 15/16 years it would be running for. Well if ends next year, I think it had one HELLUVA ride as nickelodean's #1 show of all-time. agree?

Well, Dan Castellaneta have being doing Homer Simpson for 20 years now, and so does the rest of The Simpsons cast. I really don't think that Tom will get tired of doing: first of all his favorite job as a cartoon character, and second: the character that put him on the map. At least not so soon. I don't know about Bill, though. He hated the part at first. Clancy, well, is he old enough to retire?
And, in case you didn't know, SpongeBob's still on the top rankings on cable TV. It's the only cartoon show to make it on the top 10 every week. Look at this You think Nick is going to get rid of THAT just yet? I don't think so. Plus season 7 was confirmed, and we're not done we season 6 yet, which means that season 7 will continue in 2010. SB won't end next year. I can guarantee it. And yeah, that always happens with Bill's last name, I don't know why

I know. SB is probably THE greatest show that ever aired on Nick and I HOPE it stays for as long as it can. I hope they make another movie though

    Out of the question.

I'm 100% sure (at the very least) that this show will go past 2009. You don't seem to understand that, as long as the show is raking in money, then it will go on. And it's still doing just that. I think Nick will cancel nearly every other show on right now before canceling this.

The censored name may be because of a certain word that begins with a f, ends in a g, and has an a in the middle. 3-letter word.

    That's my only guess.

Well, this place censors weird words. You can't put a word that starts with an "E" and is directly followed by a bunch of W's. Watch:

    Ewwww.

Wait, it didn't censor! Oh, that's only if you are doing "Reply" and not "Quick Reply".

And yet they don't sensor stuff like piss?

Back on-topic: Well, SpongeBob will clearly go past his 10th Anniversary. Maybe even 11th. Or 12th. Or 13th. .

Hey! Spongebob is by far the best show on Nick right now in my opinion. Over the last couple of years Nick has been getting more boring and unappealing to many people. The shows that are airing on Nick now other than spongebob are not very populaur and there are getting cut off the air instantly. Many of the shows in the past Nick history like "Rockos Modern Life","Cat Dog" and much more. However for the 10th anniversary of Spongebob,I read that they would have an 1hr long movie on Nick for the anniversary. The movie will be plotted on how spongebob,Mr. Krabs,Squidward and Patrick are locked in the Krusty Krab freezer during the anniversary party. During the time they're in there they will reveal many memories and shocking moments! I'm very excited and think this will be a success. You may think this sounds like the last episode they;re making, but i doubt that because it is very succsessful and has made many people happy with their very good plots in episodes. In my opinion i think Nick wasn't as good as it was 5 or 10 years ago but you know things change. I hope to see succsessfulness in the future!

Hey guys once again here to talk about spongebob and Nick. As you can see spongebob has been getting very populaur of the last few years. I totaly agree with that and they have been making many improvents. But,however spongebob is gaining popularity and success, in many peoples eyes they feel different. For example I dont feel the same way i did about spongebob many years ago. Dont get my wrong its a great show! Its my favorite, I LOVE IT!But the concept i do dissagree on is the new episodes of spongebob. The ideas and storyboards are getting a little boring and off task. Over the years spongebob has improved with their drawings, voices of characters and many other things. Personally i love the old episodes a lot better like, "Help Wanted" and "procrastination" and many others. Lets switch to the conversation about Nickoldeons future... I strongly feel that it will be succsessfly but not like now or 5 years ago. The shows on Nick are boring and dont support the needs of the people out there in my opinion. Now i dont want anyone to be worried about spongebob getting cut off air! It has years till it comes to the situation! I mean i could be tottaly wrong so dont take my word for it but its just my opinion on how Nick has been with very populaur shows, new shows come in and the old shows go but spongebob has a very, very, very long time till that comes. Nickelodeon is very succsessfuly these days but dosent have the appeal that people used to like years ago. How i see it is that Nick is not doing so well as many may see it like i do, but i think they will be able to stay on track and get better shows on the air and maybe get some old time shows back on the air! You never know whats gonna happen but i bet they are gonna have 1 week dovoted to old nickoldeon shows and accomplishments made over the years, i feel deeply strong about that. I hope Nickoldeon has succsessfulness in the future and will be able to make its way back to the best it can be in a while! Its looking great right now but i think it can get better. Wish for the best for the future of Nickoldeon!

I am hoping that Nick apologizes and gets the old crew back soon: Kaz, Merriweather Williams, CH Greenblatt, Mr Lawrence, etc. (as a writer and not only a voice actor)and of course Stephen Hillenburg, the creator who has not been a major part of production in YEARS.

If they Nick can offer and PROMISE a good paycheck for their return, that investment will cover them for a good number of years. Provided the aging veteran writer CH Greenblatt doesnt plan to retire any time soon.

Getting the old crew back for a tenth anniversary movie is really just the proper justice they deserve. They got the show where it is (or where it was) didn't they? It's only proper that they get the reigns back on the tenth so it goes full circle. A tenth anniversary without Stephen Hillenburg and the old crew isn't really much of a celebration.

(Oh and I dont really hate Patchy the Pirate although I thought it would be cruel and funny if the Tenth Anniversary began with him getting kidnapped and locked up somewhere. )

Dude, seperate your rants into paragraphs!

Anyway, I think after the 10 anniversery special they need to reduce the showing of spongebob. I heard they are planning a 24 hr. long marathon, the 3rd more than 3 hr. marathon they've done! That's just too much spongebob, even for the die heart fans. Everyone else has seen each episode 100 times plus they probably own the DVDs, so why does nick air Spongebob 20 times a day?!

If they only show it once or twice a day and work on their other pieces of crap (AKA shows) or stop showing Spongebob completely for a while, they'll get twice the ratings as before! Let me explain...

When I first saw the Spongebob House Party for the first time in 3 years, I was ecstatic! But now since it airs on a regular basic, it's not exciting anymore. I liked Who Bob What Pants, but they've only aired it once, but I'm going to be excited when it reairs.

If they take Spongebob off the air completely for a few months, people will start to miss it and then won't just take it for granted anymore. People don't realize how much they love something...until it's gone.

Then, the writers can relax knowing that their comeback will make them stronger then ever. Without the worry of ratings or deadlines, the writers can really think about what they are putting on the air, and we'll get some great episodes like we did in seasons 2 & 3.

So who's with me. If you guys want to see spongebob last more then 10 years AND still be good, then let it go on hiatus. You guys probably have all the epis on DVD. But for the normal fans who don't bother buying the DVDs because it's on all the time, they're the ones who are going to miss it and they're the ones who are going to welcome it with open arms when it comes back.

But if you guys want it to stay on the air nonstop, until you've memorized every epi by heart, go ahead. But then Spongebob will just keep going downhill until u can't even stand to look at it anymore. Look, I don't want this show to die a horrible death, it was part of my childhood. I still get a smile on my face when I watch Band Geeks or Chocolate with Nuts. I want it to get a little break, make a big comeback and then get a great finalshow with every single person who has ever watched Spongebob saying "I'm gonna miss it."

So lets give spongebob a break. Let's tell Nick to take it off the air, work on their other shows, we'll see you in 7 months (plus it'll give them practice on what to do when Spongebob is off the air for good) and then have those exciting and happy feelings back when we watch it for the first time. Don't you want this show to end strong?

    So who's with me?

Even if you took it off air for a while... It wouldn't resolve anything. You have seen the new shows come on air and they are not all that great. If in that time spongebob is off air,new shows would come and possibly they wouldn't air spongebob anymore.
