I think Nick makes it overrated because they play it WAY too much, although I love the show.

I've always wondered why Spongebob doesn't have like 150 episodes already. I guess Nick hates the thought of ending their most popular show so they stretch the episodes to last a long time.

i think if nick tried, they could make more decent episodes and air it at a minimum so that ratings could go up
