Is Spongebob taking over Nickelodeon? I mean, I still love the show, but I think that Nick airs it too much to the point where it can get sorta annoying.

SpongeBob does air a lot on Nick, but they do have a lot of episodes and it's still funny so it doesn't really get too annoying. But with iCarly airing the same episodes all the time, it's gotten to a point where I get sick of it.

I agree, but not entirely, they aren't airing it as often as they used to. Like today for example:
2:00- SpongeBob
2:30- FOP
3-5- U-pick- iCarly
5-7- iCarly
7-8- Drake & Josh
8-9- SpongeBob
And they air FOP at 7-8AM and SpongeBob at 8-8:30.
So that's just 4 airings per day, and it's "U-Pick" not more than twice a week. On weekends it's different though.

I have to disagree. Nickelodeon seems to have a routine where they show a marathon of a series one day, and then another series on a different day. This show seemed to get as much airing time as others.

I would have to agree that Nick does air too much SpongeBob, especially during the weekends. After all, Nick does like to make money off of shows' reruns. I bet that's why they keep ordering new episodes.

I live Canada, and here SpongeBob only airs twice a day. It should be like that in the US too.

SpongeBob didn't air that much on Nick this week, it was the "U-Pick" show just today, and they didn't show it at 2PM like it's supposed to be (when FOP is the U-Pick show they do show it at 2:30) But OMG, they have been making up for the entire week today, it have been on from 3 to 8, and right now it's 8:05PM here, and WhoBob WhatPants is on, again. Yes, it's on way too much, but I don't care, I always watch it.

I think they show too many blocks period, it's not just Spongebob or iCarly, but the shows in general, they've cancelled too many of thier classic shows in favor of Spongebob's popularity, and now that the popularity has gone down (not saying it still isn't the only thing keeping Nick alive, just that it isn't the world craze it used to be) things are getting repettitve now that they don't have the variety they once had. I mean before they would show Danny Phantom, Fairly Odd Parents, Jimmy Neutron, Drake and Josh, Spongebob, various Teen Nick shows, and some form of Rugrats. Without those shows they're reduced to showing hour block after hour block of the same shows, and since they tried to push all these new shows in at once as the old shows went out, there aren't many episodes for the new shows out so they have to repeat the old ones over and over again. Nick needs to bring back some of thier old shows or at least get a few more shows to break the bundle of crap from the new ones up.
