First of all, I'm a guy. The 'Sally' picture is the only picture I can put as my desktop picture and secondly, I got it from a Canadian magazine called 'The Mag.' Someone asked them if there was going to be a second movie and they said Nickalodeon might make one.
In my own opinion, Spongebob should end with one final movie (later in the future of course) but go to the cinema 1st. Soz i have to get my ideas out for it, quick bullet-point form though:
1. Spongebob & Sandy get together (nice message to kids & adults, whoever you are, whatever the challenges, there is someone for everyone out there)
2. Patrick mets a female starfish just like him (that would be funny, plus it would make Patrick feel a lot better about himself)
3.Mr. Crabs & Plankton become business partners (there is good in every evil)
4. Pearl starts to learn about being a proper adult (this goes to the teenage-adult section of the audience)
5. Squidward (Becomes very famous with his art, following his dream, and becomes a happlier person)
6. Gary continues to live, with Spongebob & Sandy.
7. Mrs. Puff finally passes Spongebob his driving test (winners have to be keep on trying)
8. Mermaid Man & Barnacle Boy fights their final battle against their rivals (has got to star these two legends)
Of course this serious stuff would be at the far end and all the laughs during the actual movie :-)

Cheers again! but seriously though, if a show is this good, then they've got to at least end it with a bang (for example a final movie) :-)

I pretty much like everyone of those ideas, except maybe Patrick should fall in love with someone the opposite of him, since it is common for people to go for the opposite personalities. Maybe it could be Mindy or someone (and then he'd become the new king). But all of your ideas are great. I am going to track you. 
I doubt there is going to be a Spongebob 2, and could you please give me a link of where you found Patrick vs. Plankton?
Stupid name, but it sounds like it could be interesting, but definitely not for the big sreen.
