There's never been an episode where Mrs. Puff's first name is revealed. In "Krusty Love", Mr. Krabs calls her "Puffy" (that's what it even says on the episode's actual script), though that could very well be a nickname. "Poppy" is just a rumored nickname.

It's correct. I thought it was revealed in an episode, but then in a Nick magazine I bought where it had a cut-out of a license, Mrs. Puff had signed her name on the back, "Mrs. Poppy Puff", so yeah her first name is "Poppy". So points to Clapmaster, SeaSpongez, Sabrespongebob, and CDCB.
