Spongebob Show Getting Too Crazy?

    I've noticed around season 4, that the newer episodes of Spongebob Squarepants have been lagging a bit, and have been using a bit more psychotic stuff in the show that wouldn't happen in seasons 1 - 3. (Ex. Spongebob's eyes popping out of his head). Do you think this could lead to Spongebob's end? Because I do feel episodes 1 - 3 were great, but they seem to be getting worse. Maybe Stephen Hillenburg should take a break from the show to think of better ideas like in the first few seasons.

    NO, Steve's not fired. And he isn't the one who comes up with episode ideas.

    Well Stephen does write some ideas for episodes, but it is mainly the other writers fault. Maybe they should get the boot!
