In the episode "Missing Identity" when Spongebob's falling down the stairs, you can clearly hear the F word.

He says it everytime he falls down the stairs.

He goes like this "Da Doh De Doh F*** Da" LOL So the next time "Missing Identity" is on turn it up when falls down the stairs, and I guarantee you will hear it.

I don't think that Spongebob said the F-word. And I don't want to keep saying this, but remember that TV.com doesn't like swear words.

From how I remember it, he just says "duh", but I could be wrong.

Well, if you want to talk subtle swears in spongebob...In the second season episode No Free Rides/I'm Your Biggest Fan, Spongebob says "See you Next Tuesday", which is often used instead of C...U...well....think about it. I hate the word, but I caught that one right off. THere's also the odd view of Mrs Puff sitting on Spongebob's face. Sorry...maybe I have a sick mind and read too much into it...but I thought it was rather odd.

Its a four letter word... starts with C...dirty word that refers to a woman's female parts or a dirty word for a female in general. I'm not saying that the writers deliberately put it in the episode, but its an odd phrase to use given its slang meaning. Then again, i watched the "F word" episode in detail and did not catch anything that sounded remotely like the "f" word. I think its all psychosomatic. We hear what we want to hear or half-hear something and our brain turns it into something else.

    ....i get it...

wow im sure THAT was not intended.

and in other words they would NEVER allow something like that to happen. just wonder what would happen if a 7-year old accidently puts up too much volume, hears the world, and begins calling everything he sees it.

Title : "Spongebob says the F word"

Seriously. I mean, come on, if that was the case, and since that's such an old episode you're regarding, wouldn't SpongeBob be finished, like years ago?

Yes, and there is already a topic that is similar to this topic. It's called, "What was the bad word in Sailor Mouth"
