Do you mean it's been around for a long time or it's getting old?

Well, SpongeBob has been around for 7 years, and that's probably a stretch.

Not in it's age, if it's funny anymore or not. It still makes me laugh my pants off!

Wait why did you name this thread "SpongeBob Movie" if it has nothing to do with it?

I haven't watched the movie too many times, so it isn't too awfully "old." The show in general is stretching it, though. I don't like the new episodes.

I only saw the movie once, and that was in theaters. Until I can to TV.com I thougth SpongeBob was cancalled because Plankton got the recipe and SpongeBob would probaly have to quit his job at the Kruusty Krab.

In that case, it's not old.

I think the movie takes place after all the episodes, even seasons 4 and 5. (And maybe 6, if there is one) In the new ones, the KK2 doesn't exist, SpongeBob is still a frycook, Plankton is still getting the recipe, and Squidward seems to hate SpongeBob even more than he did, which shouldn't be true because in the movie he was proud of SpongeBob for saving everyone.

Perhaps they'll do what Family Guy did and air the movie as a multi-part season finale (I highly doubt it but who knows?).

Depends on how many times you've seen it. If you've seen it 20 times, then it probably would be old. I've seen it 10 times and I still think it's hilarious.

Yeah, like Sandy and Mrs. Puff. Usually in movies based on a series, the first half is like a long version of an episode. Then, usually by the second half, the main characters do something that excludes everyone else and has original characters that aren't in the show.

I've seen the movie 20 times, and I like it just as much as I did when I first saw it. It will always be new and it will never get boring.
