I haven't watched the movie too many times, so it isn't too awfully "old." The show in general is stretching it, though. I don't like the new episodes.

I only saw the movie once, and that was in theaters. Until I can to TV.com I thougth SpongeBob was cancalled because Plankton got the recipe and SpongeBob would probaly have to quit his job at the Kruusty Krab.

I think the movie takes place after all the episodes, even seasons 4 and 5. (And maybe 6, if there is one) In the new ones, the KK2 doesn't exist, SpongeBob is still a frycook, Plankton is still getting the recipe, and Squidward seems to hate SpongeBob even more than he did, which shouldn't be true because in the movie he was proud of SpongeBob for saving everyone.

Depends on how many times you've seen it. If you've seen it 20 times, then it probably would be old. I've seen it 10 times and I still think it's hilarious.

not really...i didnt really like the movie, because it excluded lots of important characters
Yeah, like Sandy and Mrs. Puff. Usually in movies based on a series, the first half is like a long version of an episode. Then, usually by the second half, the main characters do something that excludes everyone else and has original characters that aren't in the show.
