Spongebob has a good point...

Does spongebob speak wisely throughout seasons 1-2?

This question has been bumped from time to time and i'm here to answer it

why is spongebob proud of minimum wage?

Well, as quoted by him in "Employee of the month" He teaches the true value of hard work

"Squidward, having pride in your work is nothing to be ashamed of, why it's the only thing that makes it all worth while"

I think that was a very wise quote, that's really overlooked

What's the point of having a job if you don't take pride in it?

So thats the reason that spongebob is actually a good example and not a bad one.

o_o on the contrary, I thought he acted his normal silly self on those 2 episodes, which is not very wise.

that qoute is "kind of wise" - you should love your job, but if u have a job you love that pays minimum wage, how do you make it by in life?

How come in the episode "Squid on Strike", SpongeBob refuses to accept his paycheck, but when he gets one in "Skill Crane", he's actually excited to get money?

Ive, noticed that, you remeber in Big Pink Loser, where Patrick tried to win an award, Spongebob said when he started working here, He had to pay Mr.Krabs 100 dollars an hour! Mr. Krabs so cheap, Spongebob have a snail to feed, and I think in another episode, Spongebob said that he earns a nickel as his paycheck or something.

Simple. This is a child's cartoon that isn't meant to have a serious and continuous plot therefore, there will be some inconsistencies, but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy Spongebob for what it is.

Some people do jobs for money. Some for the fun. Some for both.

If I got a job writing, that would DEFINITELY be for fun...and a little dinero here and there wouldn't hurt either.

I want to be an actor. Not for money or fame, for the fun. I don't want to be a famous actor though, just west end.

Like perform in theatres and do classic plays, and not be on TV or anything.
