Have you seen a goof on Spongebob Squarepants? If you have, what is it?

(You can use the goofs that are on the trivia column in every episode, just don't use every one, O.K.?)

Wow, that's a hard question to answer. I have been watching this show casually since the beginning and I haven't caught any "goofs". What, I mean, is the actor going to forget his line? Is a boom guy going to accidently get in a shot? haha I mean this is a ridicoulus question for a cartoon. The only "mistake" I could even find thinkable is the mouth motion not sync up to what the actor even says, and with a exact script (these people NEVER ab-lib and that's a 1000% of the time never) even that's far-fetched. It would have to be the guy who animates the mouth motions to sync up to the words to screw-up, who, by the way, is a professional and has probulay been doing this the better part of his life. My god, are we really going to dig that deep now so we can "spot a goof"? Were going to get really close to our screens so we can see if what the character is saying is EXACTLY linking up with the mouth motion of the sponge? Yeah, have fun with that. Just don't count me in, that sounds like the worst night of my life. And the odds of finding that are like 1 in a million. I'm sorry for this rant but you obviously didn't dig very deeply to think of this forum idea. Okay, if you want to get technical, there is a million goofs per episode, but all are relating this cartoon to human life. Like using cash in the water, fish talking english underwater, bathing in a bathtub, sea creatures having a bathtub for that matter. These could all, if you reeeaalllllyy want to get technical, could be precieved as "goofs" but I don't. The word goof, if it is a word, gives one the idea that the writers/directors/actors ect. made a mistake without knowing it. For example, if the street name changeswhere the series takes placeevery episode of a show, then this wouldn't be a goof. But if it changes once or twice in the entire series this is a goof. If they didn't do this on purpose.

So, to turn a very long rant into one long sentence, no, I can't believe there has ever been a goof on SpongeBob, although there is a slight change it has happened once or, although highly far-fetched, twice.

Wow, I made one HECK of a compelling argument. I am so proud of myself!

Actually, I meant like colour mistakes and past episode arguments, you know for example, spongebob's tie was black instead of red in one scene of SB-129.

A good one I can remember is that Mrs. Puff's hat turned a different color for a second in "Doing Time". This show actually has a lot of interesting goofs. I think I might look through the trivia section a bit.

In Breath of Fresh Squidward on the first day of being nice when Squidward ran to his house the door in the fence was open, whoever when Squidward was banned from the party the door in the fence was closed . Even if Squiward would`ve closed the door wouldn`t he get shocked and become annoyed again?

I actually have one of my own:

In MM & BB 3, when SB says: "Not so fast, arch-villain!" Patrick's hat that he wore turns blue when it should be white.

Plankton changes size all through F.U.N. He ranges in from
the size of a raisin, lima bean, jellybean, pickle to when
at end when Spongebob has him in his hand he looks to be the
    size of small cucember.

Here's the amount of times that Scooter has died:

1: he died after smelling spongebob's breath in something smells

2: In my pretty seahorse when mystery kicked him into the air, he lands into the distance and blows up for some reason

    3. The death that makes the least sense: in bubble buddy when spongebob buries him, the tide starts to come in and bubble buddy does nothing, so Scooter-despite being a FISH-drowns

Another goof is in Pranks a lot when Mr Krabs throws water on spongebob and patrick, the invisible spray washes off. Not only are they underwater in the first place, when they're surfing the water would have washed it off.

In Plankton! when Spongebob said "Lemme just grab my pants." and walked to the pants, his tie turned black.

In Pranks A Lot Spongebob and Patrick go to Sandy's house without water helmets.

In The Sponge Who Could Fly (aka Lost Episode) When the people say "He's flying, he's flying high in the sky!!" Spongebob suddently appears on the top left corner, rather than coming out like he was actually coming from the left, and, When Spongebob is going to save Plankton fron the kelp, how could he have gone INTO the small patch of kelp?

I think the episode was Boating School, when Patrick was in Spongebob's house and it showed the outside of Spongebob's house, you can see moving water marks on the floor, but not when Spongebob's driving, and when they crashed into the lighthouse the second time, how could the lighthouse have been repaired so quickly? AAAND how could Gary have found Spongebob's unicycle if we only saw the dumpster in the beginning.

In Suds, when Spongebob went to the table with the Sea-nut Butter, the Jellyfish jelly was already on the table, along with a plate and other silverware, and If the fridge was open all night, and it froze everything in Spongebob's house, how did it not freeze the ocean?

In The Chaperone, Spongebob has braces that he never had before. And when Mr. Krabs closed the door when Pearl and Spongebob left, the paper that Spongebob dropped, shrunk and curled all of a sudden...and a huge apple appeared during "The Sponge" song

Boy am I noticing a lot, probably because I'm watching Spongebob and paying CLOSE attention.
