When SpongeBob first premiered, it was funny. No bad language, no **** Then it came. Squidward began using words like 'idiot' and 'dumbo', which told parents of children five and younger not to have their kids watching it.

Being weird. Kids, especially younger ones, don't know what that means. Some toddlers who watch SB now are going around saying it from news. And to tell you the truth, they're right. Once little kids know something (for example, if the news was doing a report on SB) they stick with it. If a newscaster says SpongeBob is ****, they'll immediately wear SpongeBob and pick up the phrase.

One last topic. In Sailor Mouth, who knows what the bad word was? That leaves kids hanging. What are they going to do? Ask, which means putting someone in an akward position.

I doubt spongebob will cus. He did say every one in the book, but they censored it with dolphins, seagulls and Horns.

Squidward hasn't just started calling SpongeBob and Patrick idiots and dumbos; he has ALWAYS been calling them that since the series began.

And I doubt if children could tell what words Spongebob said from looking at his lips.

They didn't cus at all in that episode. As proven at the end of the episode, the noises THEMSELVES were the cus words.
