Something you need to know about the "Atlantis SquarePantis" DVD...

    It plays the "Atlantis..." episode with Patchy the Pirate segments, that weren't shown on the television broadcast. Though I thought they were long and unnecessary, they were somewhat funny.

    Patchy was ok in the segments but he isnt really, really funny. Just mildly funny; hey does this DVD also have the behind-the-scene look at the making of Squarpantis Atlantis??

    Keep in mind that this is a cartoon intended in many ways for young children. To me, Patchy takes on somewhat of a "Captain Kangaroo" type role and even though I may not find him all that funny either, if I was a young child, I would probably be more in awe of him and appreciate is style of humor.

    Yes, and it also has a featurette called, "Inside the SpongeBob Animation Studios".
