Eh, it's just a kid's cartoon. There are lots of things like this that are left "unexplained." ^_^
Anyway, she probably has something invented that allows her to breath underneath that bowl--like a microscopic oxygen provider or something.

Ya it has to have something inside but it is just a cartoon and kids don't care. Usually cartoons do that they just sort of don't explain things.
