    Spongebob reruns take up an avg. of 21 out of the top 40 cable airings in a given week, this show will last quite a while longer, right?

    I wouldn't say so. Look at Avatar, it had the same air time. Then it ended yesterday.

    It will definitely last for a few more years The show started for me when I was 13 and I'm now 22 so you can see how long it's lasted already. It's my favorite show on TV so I'd be really sad if it completely went off the air.

    Absolutely not. FIRST OF ALL how could you possibly think Avatar has the same air time as Nick? We're played once a week. They're played almost 10 hours a day! And SECOND OF ALL it did not "end", it finished. There's a difference. The show was not cancelled, it was ALWAYS supposed to finish after the third season. I'm sure Nick is dying to keep us seeing as we got the most views EVER for them on a single episode. And THIRDLY, even with such little advertisement and such a small amount of air time, we still have a movie coming out (in fact a TRILOGY) directed by a world famous director with a budget of 250 million.

    I'd say we did very good. So when you say, "Look at Avatar" I'm hoping you mean it as a compliment.

    Avatar is a good show, and hasn't gone downhill. SpongeBob has, but I still like it more. They are 2 different shows, and we should just leave it at that. Stop the fighting. Well, we can have one fight every once in a while, but not a lot.

    I don't not enjoy spongebob, it just annoys me that people think we have a fair chance against you. We do NOT have the same air time and we definitely didn't get cancelled.

    I agree, it wasn't cancelled. I'm not one of the people that say that. SpongeBob is overplayed, and the writers are running out of ideas now.
