YES!! It's very popular, even if it is going downhill.

Nick needs to stop renewing episodes because the show is really going downhill (except for some episodes).

The newer ones are bringing a new comedy into the show.... which I embrace with open arms. I like the newer ones

Yes, it should beat Rugrats. Rugrats will always be a classic in my eyes though.

I think it should, and I think it will. But there's a lot of things that Spongebob has to accomplish in order to be at the same level that Rugrat was. But I think that Spongey will definitely going to make to at leats 5 more years.

lol, I asked my dad how many more years he thought Spongebob was going to last and he said 16 more! He likes to guess into the future (It never goes well, believe me )

It would be nice. But, I don't know if it will happen. It's been going downhill a lot lately. So I don't know.

Well the good thing about SpongeBob lasting a longer time is that even when they stop making episodes, they will still have lots of episodes for reruns (140 episodes!).

Personally, I prefer the older episodes because why would anyone want to waste like 12 minutes of their life watching Spongebob get a blister?

SpongeBob should definetly beat Rugrats. Season 6 has been great so far (except for a few episodes), and I hope it gets EVEN BETTER in Season 7!

Season 6 is great! I watched Penny Foolish, and even though people don't like it, it was a pretty good episode in my opinion.

It should, but then you'll have to wait until at least 2013 (Rugrats has been airing for 13 years- Spongebob needs 14).

My uncle think 10 years from now there'll be "Spongebob Babies" kinda like Baby Looney Tunes.
