Well, even though it hasn't ended yet, it's been pretty good so far.

Yeah, I'd have to agree with you, Simple23Minded (and welcome to TV.com). I've enjoyed a lot of the Season 7 episodes better than those in Season 6, and definitely Season 5.

To be honest, the only thing I truly don't like about Season 7 is that they still are putting the pointless gross joke in the episodes every once and a while. But on the other hand, they're doing it a heck of a lot less than they did in Season 6, and that's definitely a good thing.

I agree about the gross humor stuff, but honestly there haven't been any moments in season seven that have disgusted me-at least not a lot.

Yeah, there are only two or three scenes I truly didn't enjoy in that season so far. That's a major from Season 6 where they went so far with it that they even made an episode dedicated to gross out gags (The Splinter).

Well, actually, I didn't find the Splinter to be AS disgusting as everyone's making it out, but I DID find it to be gross.

I guess I didn't state my opinion about that episode clearly. Like you, I just found it as gross. My actual opinion is that I just don't think an episode of SpongeBob that has gross imagery in 85% of it really does well.

But since this is a Season 6 episode, I think we should get back on the topic of Season 7.

I don't know what episodes are in season six or season seven, but all I know is all of the episodes that aired in 2009 and after (except for maybe about seven episodes or so) I've liked, and even loved. 2009 and 2010 were great years for SpongeBob-hopefully 2011 can keep it on track!
