We're ready, we're ready, we're ready, we're ready! We've all been waiting for Nickelodeon to officially announce the Season 6, Volume 1 DVD, and they have!
First off, here's the package art:
Hmm... it includes both the new Nickelodeon logo and the new SpongeBob logo. Oh well...
Now, some info on the release date:
The DVD will be released on December 8th. The perfect Christmas present for any child you know, and don't forget to pick up a copy for yourself, too.
And finally, some info on the special features:
It includes several featurettes like "The SpongeBob History Song" "New Outfit" and more. It also includes some bonus shorts. Seems like they're giving us some more bonus material this time around. I was sorely disappointed by the bonus features in the Season Five, Volume Two DVD.
And here's some more information:
The episodes included have not yet been OFFICIALLY announced.
The runtime is 265 minutes.
Pricing info is not yet available.

Cool! I remember seeing it on Amazon.com, and i made a thread about it, but there was no picture at the time.
But it's cool that the release date has been announced and i can't wait.
I hope they put good episodes in it.

Well, this pretty much confirms that there are 20 episodes and not 13. I admit that I was a wrong. It's a very good thing though in my opinion. It's better that the seasons remain consistent.

But if I'm right, aren't those episodes only confirmed by the SpongeBob Wikia page?

The cover art doesn't seem very original, but it's still cool. I'm not buying it, because I already own those episodes on single themed DVDs instead.
