Season 1, of course. Season 4 has been frown upon by many while Season 1 has all the classic episodes that the show is known for.

That's a GOOD question. I choose season 4, because I like both, but season 1 isn't so funny anymore, it lost a little of "magic" when I saw the episodes 100000000 times.

I couldn't disagree more. I think Season 4 was when Spongebob lost a lot of the magic. But, everyone has their own opinions.

Season 1.
Season 1 had all the classics, and was a great season in my opinion.
Season 4 freaking destroyed Spongebob.
