They should get married! They were meant for each other. Patrick is to Mindy,Mr. Krabs to Mrs. Puff,Squidward to the new female squid,Plankton to Karen then Spongebob to Sandy. Almost all the main characters have their partner so the main-main character should have too. I believe that if Spongebob and Sandy are married,Spongebob wouldn't be a gay to the people who thinks he's gay And what is Sandy's role in that show? She is the only female main character in the show. Maybe she was putted there to be Spongebob's partner (wife,girlfriend,stunt buddy).Remember what Sandy said on the episode Tea at he Treedome "I like you Spongebob. Why, we could be tighter than bark on a tree." Sandy had gone crazy when she thought Spongebob was gone(lost) in Pre-hibernation week. A romantic song was sung by Spongebob in Ripped Pants about someone who stole his girl and Sandy is the girl she talking about that been stole by Larry. And see how Spongebob cried for Sandy in Sandy,Spongebob and the Worm. Spongebob said,"Sandy, no! I can't let you! I'm not gonna let you killed! If you find him, you'll get eaten for sure!" And they are some episodes where in Spongebob gives Sandy flowers. They should get married! If I only own Spongebob Squarepants,Spongebob and Sandy would be married by now! LOL
