Wow, I'm surprised how generous you're all being...I'm a bit harsher:
Season One - 7/10 - Jokes were okay, but a lot of plotlines were somewhat boring.
Season Two - 8.5/10 - The season that brought us "Band Geeks." Jokes got better, and plotlines were more interesting.
Season Three - 9.5/10 - The funniest season so far. Something about this season just gave it extra charm, laugh-out-loud jokes, and amazing appeal.
Season Four - 7/10 - My, how the mighty have fallen. This season was pretty flat for me. Without Stephen at a major position, the show suffered. Some great episodes, but sometimes I wonder what the writers were smoking.
Season Five - 6.5/10 - Again, this season was flat. And I cannot forgive the producers for making "Atlantis SquarePantis" a musical special.
Season Six - 7/10 - So far...I like it better than season five. The only good episode so far is "Not Normal / Gone." This season better pick it up, so our spongy friend may not be back for much longer.
Again, sorry for being a bit harsh...but if a show is great, it should be praised as great. If it's awful, it should be praised as awful. There's a fine line between the two, and SpongeBob's barely hovering over it right now.
But then again, it may just be because I'm getting older. I was 5 was SpongeBob premiered, and I'm 14 now...my sense of humor has definately changed since then. XD
