    Dear Mods,

I want to start things off by saying that I realize this is off-topic but this is important so please hear me out. About a month ago, four very well-respected members were banned from these forums: Pokesponge, Eggs Are Fun, Redsoxfan, and Ilovejn. This came as a huge surprise to everyone here because one, the bannings came without any sort of warning and two, it seemed that moderators were never on to prevent anything from happening. I believe that me and many other members here really miss them. It hasn't been the same here without them around. The Spongebob forum has become much more inactive and just seems to missing something. I would also like to mention that I was aslo at fault during the incident in which they were banned. I would have PM'd you this, but I don't think that it would have nearly as effective. Now I can have the support of the othe members that feel the same way that I do. Now, I beg that you don't just close this topic and brush it off your shoulders. I would really appreciate it if something could be done. Thank you

I showed this to RedSoxFan, and he's sorry for whatever he did to get banned. It would make us all very happy if you mods un-ban our dear friends. I believe they deserve a second chance and they've learned they're lesson. Remember that we're just here to help improve your (and our) site, I'm positive that any of these members wanted to do any harm to TV.com ,and you must recognise their dedication to improve this place by reviewing and posting. They loved this place and the fact they're no longer here is making us be disappointed of the site. Please, just consider our petition.

Please don't create threads or start petitions to un-ban other users. Bans are always permanent, but if someone feels they were banned in error, he/she can send an e-mail to support@tv.com. Keep in mind that sending an e-mail won't guarantee they will be un-banned.

Here is some relevant information regarding bans from the Ban Policy FAQ:

    TVcom_Moderator wrote:
Q: I was banned but created a second ID and tried to get back on. I was told I was "ban-dodging" and banned again. Why was my second ID banned? I didn't do anything bad under it.
A: We ban by user, not by ID. If you flame or troll or otherwise violate TV.com policy even after many warnings, we figure you're going to do it no matter what ID you use.

Q: How long am I banned?
A: Banning is permanent unless a system glitch occurred (see below).

Q: Being banned permanently is unfair! I learned my lesson and won't do it again.
A: A permanent ban is a drastic step, which is why we usually give users sufficient warnings and one suspension before it reaches that point. The time to learn your lesson is during the warnings and your first suspension -- not after you get banned.

Q: What if I did nothing and the system screwed up, and I'm banned?
A: Very rarely, something unfortunately does go wrong. If you feel you were erroneously banned from TV.com, send an email to: support@tv.com. Do not create a new ID.
