Let's make a point. Plankton made ONLY 4 appearances in Season 1. Plus, without a doubt, Doug Lawrence is a really cool voice actor and does a really good job as Plankton. Many Plankton appearances aren't acutally irritatable. Cuz' Doug is not annoyed by this. Not one bit! Plankton is acutally the only interesting villain on the series and he can't be replaced by any other one that might look crappy(that's just my opinion. That's also a thought) Don't say that me thinking the writers are overusing Plankton is just an opinion. I'm making a statement.

I don't think they're overusing plankton. He's a really cool character and maybe half the episodes are about him, it's fun to watch.

It is sometimes but it gets kinda old here and there. I liked Plankton's appearences better in the older seasons.

Plankton simply had more creative episodes. Like The Algea's Always Greener, when he was in charge of the Krusty Krab. That simply is more creative then just about anything they'd do nowadays

I think they are overusing him. When Plankton made appearances back in the old days, I was satisfied because he made a really good impact. NOw, he keeps getting overused and his character and running gags get pretty washed up, irritating and stale. Plus, the episodes that were mentioned that feature Plankton have the Krusty Krab in it which is also becoming overused.

His size seems to change often...in one episode is small and tiny, then next he's chubby and a little bit taller.
