Okay, okay, the kid isn't g*y. But...

Assuming SpongeBob is straight, which he is, what do you think of the g*y jokes?

...if that's so, they should have stopped making jokes that suggest he is a long time ago.

    They didn't.

Are the SB creative team looking for trouble?

    I think they are.

They're probably playing a game of "how long will this show last as we increase the gay jokes more and more?"

Who's getting tired of their dangerous "game"?

Also depends what gender. People except boy-girl and girl-girl hugging but if they see boy-boy hugging, they think of something wrong.

That's true like on Drake and Josh, Josh practically kissed Drake in the season premiere and they never called them gay

Here's what I have to say about this subject:

The gay jokes are OK because it's not like they are ruining SpongeBob's character or the show itself. Along with that, I think that in a sense any guy can have a little bit of femininess within them. My best friend who gets like 8 times more girls than me sometimes behaves a little bit feminine like saying that something is cute and he's not gay Also, girls can be the girliest they want and still have some sort of masculine side in them. Check out Pearl, she's the girliest girl in the show yet she talks like a man.

I'm not sure if I'm making sense though.

That's just Josh. He was extremely happy about getting backstage passes to Oprah. Everytime he does when I see that episode, I briefly change the channel right before he does soI don't see it. me the first time I saw that episode>
