I liked EVERYTHING about the movie; from all the cool guest stars, to Pink's music video (I've actually never seen it before, and I liked it,) to the alternate theme songs, to the new theme show opening, to the retro cartoon segments (the commercial and Spongebob's 'early' days) how Spongebob grew to like Krabby Patties and why there is a pineapple under the sea, and of course the Spongebob+Sandy wedding. And since the priest said that he didn't KNOW it was a play, gives me the indication that he married Spongebob and Sandy for real! Patchy meeting Spongebob, Plankton failing epicly (like he always does) and Spongebob bringing the customers back with his heartfelt, non-artificial song about he loves the Krusty Krab! I applaud this made for TV movie! I hope there ARE 10 more great years of "Spongebob Squarepants" just waiting to happen! Enough said!
oh my gosh i officially love you for being the first one to bring that up, I soooooooooooo think that the priest married them for real, tho why he wouldn't know it is beyond me but then again, i don't care

LOL. Give up guys. They aren't married, and they weren't going to be.

I won't give up. There might be an episode where Spongebob admits his feelings for Sandy. Look at the part where he said "If only Sandy were here. She could help us!" And the time he remembered the day they were get 'married'. Aww..he had a dreamy look on his face... I love that part! And I still have hope that someday, they will really get married!

And that'll be the day SpongeBob dies. Seriously guys, that's a horrible thing to happen for real, you got a fake one, live with it

    Well, actually, in an interview they asked Stephen what we would never see in Spongebob. And he answered;
"We would never reveal the secret ingredients of a Krabby Patty"

Even if SpongeBob has yet to admit that he likes Sandy, it has been hinted on the show that he likes her. Heck, they even smiled at each other the whole time they were getting married.

    The DC-Dude official review:

    10/10, AMAZING!

I can't think of a better way to celebrate SpongeBob's 10th anniversary. The Patchy moments were surprisingly funny, and I loved the stop-motion opening!

That will be my FAVORITE episode ever if it happens (Knocking out "Band Buddies" and "Krusty Krab Training Video")

I agree with DC-Dude and everyone else who gave Truth or Square a 10/10 because it was a fantastic movie, I loved the Patchy/ celeb segments, and in my opinion it was the best episode in the entire series.

The only thing I didn't like as I watched it for the 2nd time... what happened to Tina Fey, Robin Williams, Craig Ferguson, and Will Ferrell?

I actually realized that on Friday night when it premeired, it ended after 9:00, because my DVR cut it off at the part when they were ramming their way out of the vent.

I wasn't a big fan of the live action parts, and it sucks that the secrets were bogus, but HILLARIOUS episode none the less. All the characters had great roles, especially Patrick and Squidward, they had many LOL-worthy parts. Patrick in this episode reminded me of his role in SpongeBob vs. the Big One, not exactly like his original self, more delivering one-liners than being really stupid, but in a really funny way. 9.1/10

It was pretty disappointing that the Spongebob & Sandy marriage wasn't real, but I kind of saw it coming. Aside from that, what an amazing episode! There were ton of great jokes just like Spongebob's glory days, both in the animation and live action sequences. I liked to hear "Until the 20th Anniversary" at the end. They have said that Spongebob has no signs of stopping.

Wow, i am shocked i haven't given my review yet!

This movie was pretty great. I will review it like this :

    * The launching parts with Plankton made this movie pretty funny. I even liked the ending when Mr.Krabs turned Plankton into a balloon.

    * Hmm, maybe your right Gary, spongebob did go overboard with the clock part, but it was funny.

    * Happy 117th anniversary Krusty Krab! Even though it still is strange it has been around that long.

    * So, we see how Spongebob's house got into bikini Bottom? Kind of a strange way though. Also, it seemed that Squidward wasn't so grumpy until Spongebob moved in.

    * Well spongebob and sandy got married, well not really. But to be honest, i kind of saw this coming because i too had a feeling it was a play.

    * Well it seems we won't learn the formula either. But then again, i the creators themselves said that they don't even know what the formula is.

    * So we see Patchy again? I was wondering if we would see him again. Anyways, there was some pretty funny parts with his segments like when he was in the whale and they showed different openings of spongebob with different characters like Patrick. If only they had some more, like one for Sandy or Plankton.

    * The movie could have been longer, but it was still great and had funny moments.

    Overall : 9/10 or an A.

P.S. Next time there is a new episode, i might make my review longer.

To go off on a slightly off-topic tangent, since SBSP started with the moving of Sandy to Bikini Bottom (well, production-wise, anyway), what if it ended with Sandy having to have finnished studying the "sea critters" and having to leave Bikini Bottom? It could be like Texas, only more permanent: SpongeBob and Patrick will try to convince her to stay, Squidward probably could care less (same for Krabs), Larry tries to snag her one last time, but Sponge finally confesses his feelings for her (and all the SBSP=Gay supporters will scream in unison. lol, I jest).

Sure, it'll turn the series into an animated version of As The World Turns, but it'd be a sweet little ending. However, the ending is a ways off, and there are plenty off stories to be told in the meantime.

BTW, was I the only one who "Aww"ed at the Wedding Scene?

To me, the whole wedding scene in "Truth or Square" was enough. It doesn't need to turn into a whole epic love battle, as that would blow the entire series way out of porportion. Hillenburg just wants things simple, and simplicity is why most of us became fans of the show in the first place.

True, it'd turn into All My Children's animated cousin. But, it wouldn't have to all be romance, it could focus more on the fact of whether Sandy should stay or not. Ramoance would be like less than 5% of it.

    But, alas, you are right.

I loved this episode. It was the best episode I've seen in a while. The Patchy parts might have been a little boring, but they had some good moments, like when they showed all those good openings. That was great humor!

As for the SpongeBob x Sandy parring, sure, it might have been nice to see them as a couple, but I think it's best for the series that they remain separate.
