    Read my review.

I gave the episode a 10.0, even though Nick kinda overhyped it, especially with the wedding scene. The Patchy segments were good enough to pay the best tribute ever to the show. I loved the alternate character theme songs, but I hated how they played Pink's "We've Got Survy" video. We've seen that annoying video too many times since July, and we don't need to see it again during an actual episode.

"Truth or Square" was THOUSANDS of times better than the lame, subpar "Atlantis Squarepantis." Since this made-for-TV movie was ACTUALLY longer than an hour, it felt like an ACTUAL movie sequel, and not rushed or shortened like it's predecessor was. I liked EVERYTHING about the movie; from all the cool guest stars, to Pink's music video (I've actually never seen it before, and I liked it,) to the alternate theme songs, to the new theme show opening, to the retro cartoon segments (the commercial and Spongebob's 'early' days) how Spongebob grew to like Krabby Patties and why there is a pineapple under the sea, and of course the Spongebob+Sandy wedding. And since the priest said that he didn't KNOW it was a play, gives me the indication that he married Spongebob and Sandy for real! Patchy meeting Spongebob, Plankton failing epicly (like he always does) and Spongebob bringing the customers back with his heartfelt, non-artificial song about he loves the Krusty Krab! I applaud this made for TV movie! I hope there ARE 10 more great years of "Spongebob Squarepants" just waiting to happen! Enough said!

I don't know, I just don't have much to say about this episode. It was truly better than Atlantis. I think I have to see it one more time to have an opinion...

    overall i liked it.

there was a little too much patchy.

i liked the part when patchy was eaten by the whale.

the 3 alternate net theme were funny.

the black and white spongebob clip was silly.

i like the oh krabby patty song.

the plankton balloon parts was funny.

i also like when spongebob got his first krabby patty.

and the old krabby patty comercial and how mr.krabbs has nightmares because krabby patties used cost only a dime.

and also spongebob house search and how the pineapple fell off a boat into the sea.

i just watched the re-airing and they actually got rid of most of the patchy parts, they're still in there, they just got rid of some scenes, and they dont take up half the show anymore. btw, i heard the dvd comes with a directors cut, just sayin'

I gotta get that DVD! I missed the re-airing, saw the premiere, so now I actually want to see it again to see more SpongeBob rather than Patchy.

it was ok but after 10 years the producers could of actually revealed the formula or something. and patchy and the commercials were so annoying! it took up over half the show. the actual episode was only 32 minutes all together.

Yups, and I gotta say, I definitely like it more now, since one of my main issues with it was that it had more live action segments than cartoon, but this morning's version is just perfect, the right amount of Patchy (surprisingly the parts they left in weren't annoying at all) and it didn't feel rushed, and all good, I told ya my opinion was going to change! So now I give it a 9.6

    I have a question.

That opening sequence they used... are they going to be using that from now on? Or was it just for this episode?

Thanks . I kind of had a feeling, but the way people worded it made me think they might continue using it.

What parts did they cut out when they re-aired? I only saw they cut out the ending narration since I missed the beginning of it when they aired it again.

Overall I liked it. It wasn't what I expected, but still good. Some of the Patchy parts annoyed me, mainly because he was given more screen-time than SpongeBob! But the rest of the episode was great. I liked Plankton's part, especially the scene with Karen, and the new character theme songs, SpongeBob's first Krabby Patty, and his and Squidward's first meeting were all really cute. I even liked the ending song. I thought it was a good way to end the celebration.

Huzzah! I gave it a 9.5 because I hate the Patchy parts.I might re-rate if the Patchy parts are reduced like you guys said.

I won't give up. There might be an episode where Spongebob admits his feelings for Sandy. Look at the part where he said "If only Sandy were here. She could help us!" And the time he remembered the day they were get 'married'. Aww..he had a dreamy look on his face... I love that part! And I still have hope that someday, they will really get married!
