    In a word: Good.

    In a lot of words: I got a bad first impression on this season. I criticised it like crazy, and a few months ago I changed my ways. Why? Because I saw more episodes. Better episodes. Roller Cowards, Pest of the West (counted as Season 5 here), Atlantis SquarePantis (say whatever, I don't care), Pat No Pay, The Inmates of Summer.

    Sure it had the crappers: Waiting, To Love A Patty, The Two Faces of Squidward. Other than that, good season.

    Overall I'd say it was a little below average. There were some great episodes like Spy Buddies and Roller Cowards but episodes like To Love A Patty, Blackjack, To Save A Squirrel, The Two Faces of Squidward and a few others were just awful.

    Before you throw tomatoes at me, I just wanna say that I really do like Season 5.

    Think of the great episodes, like

    Sing A Song Of Patrick

    Picture Day

    Goo Goo Gas

    The Original Fry Cook

    Krabs a la Mode

    The Inmates Of Summer

    Night Light

    But then there were some not good episodes, like:

    A Flea In Her Dome

    Waiting

    SpongeHenge

    But still- I think it's an improvement over Season 4.

    Same for me too

    I can say that I cared for only eight episodes in Season 5 (which ones, I'm not telling unless you really want to know ), the rest were either meh or I hated them

    Why does everyone despise The Splinter? Think about it.

    If the splinter was just a normal size splinter and there wasn't trash getting dumped on it, it wouldn't have been so bad. For me:

    The humor got a 7, even though the animation (the actual splinter) got a 1.

    Guys The Splinter came out in Season 6. Still this season was not that great compared to all of the other seasons

    I've never even seen "The Splinter", and I would give it a chance before judging.
