Nickelodeon has now started producing a new type of merchandise for SpongeBob. These are special plush toys based on episodes, and normally I'd have no problem with this idea because I think Nick needs to make a larger variety of SpongeBob plush dolls. What I do have a problem with is the fact that these are sold with a DVD with the same episode...for an unreasonable price. If you ask me, Nick has gotten a little extreme with the SpongeBob merchandising. If you want to have a look for yourself and see the pricing, check this link out.
