    I don't really think you can compare anime to a cartoon where nothing is canon... Cause anime has a plot, you have to watch every episode to understand the storyline, and it has almost no humor, all action. I mean, compare Naruto, possibly one of the best anime's out right now, to Spongebob. One is action packed with a serious storyline, while the other has no storyline and is just wacky.
    There is so much wrong there...
    Two major points i will adress:
    1.- There is normally comedy, japanese comedy, specially if it is a shonen (shows like DBZ, Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, and others with guys beating the crap out of evil) though of course there are more important serious moments, but most anime involved in this argument does have good amount of comedy.

    2.- Naruto is in no way the best anime out there, maybe the most popular, in the united states, that is it, the quality has been declining since the time jump, the anime has fillers that are oh so very similar to eachother that you just know what they will even say, and, at the current point of the story in the manga, the main guy, Naruto, is pretty much the most annoying thing ever, anyone ever thought that orange lad saying BELIEVE IT was annoying? listen to him saying stuff about peace that is more retarded than a presidential speech and somehow has his way as he tries to protect his friend who killed a good number of innocents by now, makes you wonder if it's on purpouse...
    One Piece, Fairy Tail, BLEACH, (they sell 10-2 times more than Naruto in japan.) and others are much better.



    Anyway, i liked the first season of Johny Test, it was simple and plain, but it had couple of phrases and situations i enjoyed, then second season it got even cheesier and the animation was flash, i can't say it was really good before, but now it is worse.

    Yep thats right its a Xiaolin Showdown icon but its in anime style. And Whizkid777, Xiaolin Showdown is not bad, but oh well we have different opinions. I like the "showdowns" in the show.
    IMO, the last season was all over the place, the woo there just wasn't that creative and barely even served a purpouse, since they were useless with most of the bad guys at that time, but the finale totally made up for it.

    Ok, then next time just say that there are way too many cultural differences for there to be a comparison, what japan finds funny america finds disturbing and vice-versa, eh?

    I do have to agree on the fact Naruto sucks. I prefer Anime such as Dragon Ball Z and Xiaolin Showdown, and I think Yu-Gi-Oh! is an Anime too. Those three animes are far better than Naruto. I love watching a lot of different Animes, though Avatar: The Last Airbender fits more into the Amerime category.

    Oh yes and i don't know why you guys are so creeped out by the SquidBob slash pairing, sometimes men just love to hang out with other men sometimes and have a good time, same thing goes for women, sometimes when that happens it means men and women or vice-versa are having trouble getting along with each other. If you guys still don't like the whole SpongeBob and Squidward shipping, then you all must think I have one creepy opinion then.

    Well, first off, Xiaolin Showdown is not an anime, the plot is kinda sorta anime-ish, but no, not even close to being anime.
    Yugioh is infact anime, but the boring card games push it horribly down, honestly, pre time skip naruto is better. (i know i made a rant on how naruto sucks, but, it was really good at first, before the time skip it was a real good series, over rated, but still really good, then the time skip and it all went downhill...)

    Shipping involves kissing and with most of the stuff for shipping in the internet, it usually also involves all baseball terms, in a related note i am a man, i respect homosexuals, but seeing men do stuff to eachother that is concidered shipping will repulse me, like magnets with the same charge.

    Yea, men like to hang out with men and women like to hang out with women because that's what friends are >.> And really, why do you WANT to see it in the show? It's a show for 8 year olds, imagine all the little kids that would be scarred seeing Spongebob and Squidward making out...

    Well, i don't really watch re-runs of anything, so i wouldn't care much...
    Though, i would like for a last episode special movie thing or something, the ending was great and all, but it was so open D:

    I think anime is stupid. Naruto, avatar, xialon showdown, dragonball z, Yu-gi-oh all are failures. Spongebob is where its at!
