Yeah, I read that interview as well. That's stupid. Tom Kenny, how could you do something like this?! This is not the SpongeBob voice we know!

Um, no offense, but I actually like Spongebob's new voice. But, I understand Mr. Lawrence trying to balance things out.

I liked his Season One voice the best. Compare Season 1's voice to Season 7's: YOU WILL BE AMAZED AT THE CHANGE.

Yep, it's just like Cosmo's voice, gets higher every season, but I don't mind.

I already got used to SpongeBob's high voice, and it's not that bad, really, altho it annoyed the heck out of me on The Krabby Kronicle, SpongeBoob sounds like he has a flu

Anyway, I also heard Mr. Lawrence is back on the writing team!

Let's just understand Tom Kenny. Maybe that's the result of getting older. Higher or lower Spongebob's voice is, I still love and accept it,at least,he don't give up.

How does lowering Plankton's voice balance it out? I like his voice the way it is, but I wish SpongeBob's could be lowered a few octaves...why can't the writers at FOP realize that and do something about it? And Mr. Lawrence is back on the writing team? Yay! I love all of his episodes, I wish he'd never quit writing to begin with!

Ok, why did he high pitch Sponge Bob's voice in the first place? Is his voice cracking or something? whatever he did it's annoying! Like his original voice better.

I don't mind his voice high or low. I think it makes Spongebob in character by how they make hi8m an annoying Sponge like he is supposed to be. I never noticed the difference till now actually.

I'd blame the director, he's the one who tells the voice actors how to do stuff.

Well, i see it in spanish, and, his voice is kinda odd right now, not as bad as some episodes in early season 3 where he had a really high pitch for no aparent reson.

I don't mind what the voice sounds like. As long as it's the same voice actor, I'm fine with it. And I think that Mr. Lawrence's real first name is Doug.

I think, instead of lowering Plankton's voice, they lower SpongeBob's voice. Simple as that .
