Season 1:

Underrated: Help Wanted (lol @ "I want my Mommy, Mr. Squidward")

Overrated: Sleepy TIme (Especially at the end when the characters told SpongeBob to stay out of their dreams; I really don't think he could have helped it)

Season 2:

Underrated: Imitation Krabs (lol @ "I always thought the most important rule is why do today what you can put off for tomorrow" You cannot put a price on Squidward's puns)

Overrated: Artist Unknown (Squidward could be a far better teacher than he was. After all, SpongeBob did well on his first day at art school; he deserves some props)

Season 3 (probably one of the best seasons of SpongeBob):

Underrated: (I loved most of them, so I just picked one in random) Rock a bye Bivalve ("It's the best seat in the house" (rim shot))

Overrated: SpongeBob BC (I really couldn't grasp the meaning of this episode outside of the fact that it was SpongeGar thousands of years ago; plus, SpongeGar's brief appearance on that other episode that Squidward traveled through time was much better)

Season 4:

Underrated: Squid Wood ("Who ordered the Krabby Patty, and who ordered the Krabby, Patty?" Priceless.)

Overrated: Driven To Tears (Couldn't grasped the meaning; how can Patrick get all of the luck when he didn't study and prepare like SpongeBob did? Just common sense)

Season 5:

Underrated: I would have to say a tie between Boat Smarts and Banned in Bikini Bottom (Mrs. Puff's driving instruction video was just priceless, as well as Squidward's clothing zinger)

Overrated: WhoBob WhatPants (Couldn't grasped the meaning; city in trouble over a manner of bubbles? People will make a big deal out of little things now a days. Shaking my head.)

Season 6:

Underrated: Giant Squidward ("You said you wanted to make big money." (rim shot & boos from a crowd) Priceless.)

Overrated: No Hat For Pat (Probably because of the mistake on the writers' part, mostly considering that Patrick could handle a hat in episodes past and in episodes future; must be a phase in Patrick's life or something)

Season 7:

Underrated: (tie) Tentacle Vision and Growth Spout (I would watch Squidward Chat any day of the week, and I love the way Mr. Krabs took Neptune's name in vain on that episode. I didn't knew Neptune had an Aunt Antsy. Also, "What am I? Chopped Liver." "No, that's what I am." Hilarious.)

Overrated: The Legends of Bikini Bottom (basically the series of episodes in general; for legends, those were not really legendary; really nothing new in the world of SpongeBob, just the same old grind)

Season 8:

Underrated: A Friendly Game (Ah, golf, one of the finest sports in the history of forever; good for you, Spongebob and Patrick)

Overrated: Bubble Buddy Returns ("Bubble Buddy, huh? That guy still owes me money." Mr. Krabs, that was years ago! MOVE ON! Sheesh!)

Season 9 (so far):

Underrated: Little Yellow Book ("I guess I'm piqued to peek at that book! HA HA HA HA HA HA!" Squidward, you never cease to humor me.)

Overrated: It's hard to decide between Patrick-Man and Squid Baby. (both of those episodes were kind of mediocre; I guess the writers were trying to prevent writer's block)

Those are my overrated and underrated episodes for each season.

Season 1

Overrated: Ripped Pants: The entire episode revolves around one joke.

Underrated: Reef Blower: I love this episode for its jokes and for its strange format.

Season 2

Overrated: Bubble Buddy/ I'm With Stupid: Not many jokes, and and weird twist ending./ Way too mean- spirited on Patrick's part.

Underrated: Welcome to the Chum Bucket: Great gags and a stunning musical number, but no one really talks about it.

Season 3

Overrated: I can't think of one.

Underrated: New Student Starfish: A great episode, and it's interesting to see Patrick interact with the boating school.

Season 4

Overrated: No idea.

Underrated: Rule of Dumb: I deeply respect this episode because Patrick is a jerk, but the crown is causing it, he is punished, and he regrets what he did. Everybody seems to hate it though.

Season 5

Overrated: Wow, none for 3 seasons in a row!

Underrated: Banned in Bikini Bottom: This was one of my favorite modern episodes when I was younger, and I think it still holds up.

Season 6

Overrated: Sand Castles in the Sand: It was completely awesome, but it wasn't asawesome as everybody says it is.

Underrated: Shell Shocked: A nice episode that gets overlooked.

Season 7

Overrated: No one everpraises Season 7.

Underrated: Perfect Chemistry: This is just hilarious.

Season 8

Overrated: See Season 7, and replace 7 with 8.

Underrated: A Friendly Game: Really funny jokes, and a great set up.

Season 9

Overrated: None. Every episode that people praise from this season deserves praise.

Underrated: Patrick- Man!: Really funny, and Patrick actually get consequences for being a jerk.

Wow, there were a lot of empty overrated slots...
