Monroe is one of the best side characters on SpongeBob. Who can forget his 5 second appearance in Krabby Land? I've been seeing him in alot of episodes lately but who exactly is he? Is that kid he hangs around with his friend? Who are his parents? I thought I figured it out but Pest of the West proved everything wrong. And the most important question of all is Monroe related to old man jenkins?

Another question is he a boy or a girl because Mr. Krabs called him a girl in "Born Again Krabs". Also, is his/her name Monroe or Timmy?

What worries me is my old obsession on the little guy.

I made up a 6-paged biography about him last fall when I "wasn't a member" of the site.

There are actually two orange kid fish that look like him. The one with the proppeler hat you see there is Monroe, and the one without is Timmy.

Yeah, Monroe was also the one on The Sponge Who Could Fly but Timmy is the one that doesn't like pistachio
