SpongeBob SquarePants: Mistake in "New Leaf" ?

I don't know if you'd call this a mistake or not, but I noticed something weird in "New Leaf."

There's a scene where Plankton is walking away from the Chum Bucket with a stuffed animal, and he says to it, "We've got a big day tomorrow." Seeing him walking away from the Chum Bucket obviously implies that he has a home, right?

Well, looking back at the episode "Krabs V.S. Plankton," the opening scene shows Plankton waking up on a mattress which is inside the Chum Bucket, meaning that he lives there. So that's where my point is. Don't those scenes contradict each other?

Has anyone else noticed this?

Isn't the Chum Bucket Planktons home? He woke up in it in Sleeping Time and other episodes. Besides, we never saw Plankton living in a house, did we?

Plankton does live in the Chum Bucket. He doesn't have a seperate house from it. He couldn't afford one anyway since he hardly makes any money

Yep. Besides all the other times we saw him live at the Chum Bucket, it showed him taking a shower in there that night in the same episode.
