    I'd have to say season four, though I can't really comment on the latest season, as I haven't been watching it regularly. I just lost interest after the atrocity that was the fourth season. God, it was awful... A complete disgrace to everything the show had come to be loved for. From what I've seen, I still don't think it's recovered completely.

    So far, season six. But overall, season five. I think SpongeBob started to lose it's touch starting with season four. :/
