    Who agrees that larry hasnt been shown much?

    He hasn't, but he's still a cool(however useless)character! I think most people don't like him, however, because:

    -False rumors started, stating that he tries to steal Sandy from SpongeBob(ex.- ep: Ripped Pants) -He's a "show-off", though I don't know why this is a bad thing. He's cool, either way!

    -He's a useless character to the plot, which makes sense; we haven't seen much of him.

    -I don't know; people just like comparing him to SpongeBob or Sandy, in which they think SpongeBob is cooler and Sandy is stronger(though these topics are USELESS to argue over, and are, thus, never-ending! Despite SpongeBob being cool, alot of people argue that Patrick is the coolest!). Well, anyway, I THINK that's why most people hate him. Besides him being a useless character, I think MOST people are just jealous of him taking Sandy away from SpongeBob, thus, ANGERING SpongeBobxSandy shippers(a popular couple, really, but it isn't official).

    Still, there are others(like me), who think he's cool, either way! And let's face it, he's a WAY better character than a few others(not going to say who, that'd be offensive; I'll just say one of them whines/cries alot, and a few others, are well, UGLY and boring!).

    Don't mind him really, like Mr. Krabs mom, he is just a background character is some ways. 1710, when you said:

    I confess, I'm one of them and that does worry me but the fact here, since the creators doesn't use him much anyway, then I guess its nothing to worry about.

    Well, there was the episode when he was a lifeguard, and showing off his muscles in front of the ladies, but other than that, he's under-developed as a character, but still more character than a few others such as Scooter(who has changed ALOT, or is it just someone who looks IDENTICAL to him).

    I like Larry a lot. I always thought he was cool, Spongebob is just a little klutzy in Ripped Pants.

    MAYBE if he had a more DEVELOPED character, SOME people would like him more!

    Overall, I would choose Larry over some of the more popular characters (Larry>Squidward and Plankton).

    I'd choose him over Sandy, Mrs. Puff, Pearl, and basically any minor character after that.
