    ps then why did sb go downhill makes no sense

    Because he's not really involved in the show's writing anymore. He just reviews episodes and provides some feedback. Other than that, he's pretty much left the show.

    1.Stephen quit cuse he needed a break from the show, either because of lack of interest or episode limit, or "his break."
    2.Paul Tibbitt is the new executive.
    3.Stephen contributes for the show.
    4.The old writers stepped back to other projects. Example: Dan Povenmire and Jeff Marsh on Phineas and Ferb and C.H Greenblatt on Chowder. Others: writers for different shows.

    So yeah...it's a fact.
