Is squidward too hard on spongebob?

    Squidward always gets annoyed by him. he throws a party whenever spongebob leaves, he freaks out if spongebob's even around him & he goes crazy if he even laughs it seems to me like squidward really can be mean to spongebob.

    I agree I dont particually like Squidward but if the episode is from his point of view then you can see what he means

    In the older episodes, yes. But in Season 4+, I don't really blame Squidward for being annoyed with Spongebob. He (and Patrick) can drive any idiot up the wall.

    So no one thinks squidward gets too annoyed by him even for nothing I mean sometimes spongebob's just trying to have fun

    I think if Spongebob and Patrick are just trying to have fun, then maybe yes. but if he is actually bugging him went Squidward wants to be alone, then no.

    Squidward may get really annoyed whenever SpongeBob is around. But I believe that he actually likes SpongeBob deep down.

    Ok I admit spongebob can be out of control sometimes but that doesn't mean squidward has too be harsh on him and the same with the other characters I'd be pretty lucky to live nextdoor to spongebob then again so would anyone

    I think one of the problems with recent episodes is SpongeBob has become more annoying than ever and Squidward has become too much of a smart-ass.

    Personally if I lived next to Spongebob I would've set his house on fire. But the thing with Squidward is that he actually likes Spongebob but doesn't want to admit it, so he's mean to him instead trying to convince both himself & Spongebob that he doesn't like him.

    I think what many fail to realize is that Squidward has lived next to SpongeBob for so many years. I think after all of the torment he went through Squidward has finally lost it. It seems to show when he is screaming at them.

    Actually, I'm surprised Squidward doesn't just get a restraining order. Problem solved. Spongebob and Patrick would go to jail and Squidward would have peace. Hey, I'm sorry if this offends anyone, but I would do it in a heartbeat.

    I agree with you, but that's the point, just think about it, if Squidward is good with SpongeBob, the show won't be so funny, because some of the best jokes are jokes that Squidward say to SpongeBob and some episodes are about it.

    the show isn't as good as it used to be anyway but it least it's still going only one year to go but as for the topic sure Spongebob can be drive squidward up the wall but he is a kind caring sponge who deserves to be treated better by everyone not just squidward.

    Well, in recent years Squidward has been much more annoyed with him than he used to be in the first three seasons. If thats the case then a couple seasons from now he might go so crazy he'll just start doing a whole bunch of bad things. Or maybe even worse.
