    It's the most loved-hated show on nick. Jimmy Neutron and Fairly OddParents aren't as franchised or popular as Spongebob. So that gives people more reason for hating the show.

    I'm guessing that you hate gay people from that quote, but I don't want to get into that. When people who don't know what their talking about call SpongeBob gay there's really no point in starting an argument anymore. But why do you think it is stupid?

    As avid Spongebob fans we respect your opinion if you don't like Spongebob. But if you guys who hate Spongebob just keep calling Spongebob to get us to be haters, then sorry it won't work. Spongebob is awesome whether he's gay or not. What do ya'll got against gays anyways?

    Even if Spongebob was gay it's just cartoon. It's not like the cartoon characters are going to jump out of the television and kiss you

    spongebob is not overrated, in fact underrated. Anyway, y do people have to say that the show is gay or childish eventhought they didn't see the show be4. Some of my friends say that i'm kiddy because i watch spongebob but i so disagree with them. In fact some of them watch winnie the pooh.( it's so much kiddier)

    I think SpongeBob is underrated. I mean, shows like Drake and Josh have the 9.0 rating, but SpongeBob only has 8.7.

    I think they take it a little too far with the merchandise, but other than that, it's not really ovarrated that much. It is still a pretty good show, after all.

    But I agree that the whole "SpongeBob is gay thing is just plain stupid. Since when should people care about a cartoon character's sexuality??? He probably isn't gay anyway. Just happy.

    I think it's very very overrated, and I'll tell you why.

    The show is complete nonsense, It has no moral, no plot, no interest, no tale to tell. Honestly, if I didn't know better, I would have thought this show was created by a very young child. At least it's educational: Sponges can talk, land squirrels can live in the ocean, Squids can walk and only have 6 feet. Oh, wait no its not educational. It's also has very annoying properties like the fact that the humor is horrible, the episodes are stupidly random, and he never gets older/more mature. Every episode starts out from the beginning. No new characters, nothing. Its a very shallow, meaningless show. I like shows that have a deep plot, moral, and a tale that ends when it's the show's over. A show that knows when to quit. Spongebob has been going on and on and gotten nowhere. It's cancellation is much overdue.
