Personally, SpongeBob used to be really funny and good for kids all ages. Now Squidward is using words like 'stupid', 'idiot', and 'lunatics'. I'm not affected by it, but my 4 year old cousin saw a SB Halloween costume, and wanted to watch the show. 2 minutes later, my aunt saw it was not for her. If Squidward spoke without those words, SB might be enjoyable again for ALL ages.

Are you kidding me? like other of the shows dont use "stupid" or "idiot", kids really dont pay much attention to that stuff (like me.) They just watch the show

I don't really pay attention to what kind of words they use, either. I just like watching the show!

As long as its not a swear word or anything explicit, then its fine. Kids are going to get used to hearing "stupid","idiot", and "lunatic" anyways.

No, no! Make that the best show in the WORLD!!! No, no! The UNIVERSE! Is there anything beyond the universe?

People will always be criticizng about every shows. The words are not a big deal, one episode called "Mid-life crustacean" did contain some obvious adult humor. But not in every episodes

I hate several episodes, but I don't hate the whole show, because it's one of my favorite cartoons.

I have no idea what you're talking about. Yes, the show's changed but what kind of drastic change? Squidward only says those words like a couple of times.

Squidward has always been somewhat of a name-caller to SpongeBob and Patrick; he hasn't started just recently.

Like i've said before, the name-calling isn't a bad thing. I mean at least this show isn't too babyish or too goody two shoes. Yes, it did have some crude episodes, but not in every episode.
