    I doubt it. Usually characters that are shown in a movie, and its their first apperance are not shown in a series.

    No, the movie obviously takes place years after the series given that in Season 4 no one ever mentions any of the events that happened in the movie. Also Plankton still tries to get the formula despite having learned it in the movie, there is no Krusty Krab 2 in Season 4 and Spongebob has a rather large amount of employee of the month awards. It's a safe bet that Mindy and King Neptune will never appear in the series itself.

    Yeah, but it was still Neptune.

    Anyway, I doubt they'll make another appearance. Like someone above me said, the movies generally feature characters and situations that don't appear in the actual show. It's a pretty common thing.

    The movie IS canon to the storyline, but it takes place at the very end of the series. So in the series SpongeBob and Patrick have not journeyed to Shell City yet.

    Yeah but that won't be until after the series ends. I don't think they would have the Krusty Krab 2 or any of the other movie changes in Season 5 or 6.
