Okay the other day I was thinking do any of u know if the spongebob episodes are suppost to be connected?
Also, what do u guys think of the new episode coming out with Johnny Depp?

umm, what do you mean by connected? Continuity? or if the episodes are always paired with the same episode, or what?

As for SpongeBob vs. The Big One, it's a great episode, I've seen it like 6 times on my DVD Johnny Depp did pretty good.

I agree, SBvsTB1 is a very awesome episode. I've seen already seen it 2 times on DVD, and it's got to be the best special since "Have You Seen This Snail?"

Also, I don't quite understand your first question, either.

Most of the time, no.
But, there are a few episodes that do make refference to certain episodes, but not enough to say the show has a good continuity.

Oh, thanks! Sorry for not being clearer, I just did not know how to phrase it. Yeah, I mean in one episode SpongeBob,Patrick,and Sqiudward get community service for every sunday. But it never happens again. In another episode SpongeBob says that he doesn't get paid more than like five cents a year but, in the episode that Mr. krabs loses his first dime at the end SpongeBob screams that he has lots of dimes. How would he have that much money. I mean I could go on forever but, they don't seam to match up. But, again I don't watch that much SpongeBob. Thanks for your help.

Yeah, SpongeBob has no continuity at all. "Band Geeks" and "Squilliam Returns" are some minor episodes that sort of have that connection.

The events of the episodes do happen, probably in the order that they are shown. However the effects of each story just don't get carried on. There are only a few episodes that you need to see to keep up with the story.
