okay, I'd just like to say that I HATE this show, so my opinion is EXTREMELY biased, but I'm gonna post it anyway.
First of all, SB is like a cross between a sea sponge and a kitchen sponge. He isn't one or the other. His gender is specified as male, whatever sea sponges are. My sister, however, forces me to watch it evry day, so I know a LOT about it. I do think SB is gay. Not that that's a bad thing, but he is. It's not the reason I dislike the show. if you'll all remember, in the ep with the scallop, he got into a DRESS and pretended to be MARRIED to PATRICK. And I will not deny that Cozmo and Mr. Turner act gay sometimes, but less than SB. let's not forget Chester and AJ, they were acting gay a couple tiomes too. he doesn't really seem to be interested in Sandy. She's a good friend to him. And I'd like to know how Tucker and Danny are gay. The only instances I can think of are when they hugged IN THEIR SLEEP which wasn't really their fault, and when he was shoved into the costume box and came out in a girl's outfit by accident.
Everybody at my school call's everythink gay:
"You drink through a straw-you're gay you eat a sandwhich-you're gay you watch SB-you're gay SB in general is gay even if you're a girl and do these things-you're gay!"
I'm sick and tired of it!!!!!!

What they're doing is taking whatever they see out of context. They only believe that SpongeBob is like that because they can't stand him.
But that's the completely wrong way to go about it. I would just avoid a show that I don't like, or I would at least criticize it constructively instead of bashing it in a sick way.
