times the number of times someone has ever played SpongeBob by the amount of viewers SpongeBob has had altogether. That's how many seasons.

The show lost its glory ever since season 4, I think it should've ended then, meaning after the premiere of the movie. Seeing as how its still popular though and many people still like some episodes, I wouldn't mind this show having a few more seasons to see if any more new episodes/specials catch my interest like Fear of a Krabby Patty and Single-Cell Anniversary.

Do you know how many upset fans there would have been if that happened?

Yeah well, post-movie haters don't think of the younger fans. Not saying all of them are like that, but some are.

I was just stating my opinion, I didn't mean to sound offensive or anything by it. Like I said, I am curious to see what new episodes will come out in the future, and if fans are still happy SpongeBob's still going strong then I'm happy.

6 or 5 more seasons sounds good, but I know Nick won't let go off this show so easily, they would be nothing without SpongeBob right now

After seeing the most recent episodes and how much the writers are dedicated to their job, I say 3-6 more seasons. I don't want the show to last as The Simpsons, since the show will probably start coming out with stale plots. So far, season 7 is really good and if the show is going to maintain that quality, then I want them to keep on making episodes.

Yeah, but wouldn't you rather it ended before on a high note, or got cancelled/ended because it had crappy plots after making so many episodes.

It should have a few more seasons, but let's be realistic. It won't beat The Simpsons, or attempt to beat The Simpsons.

Yeah, 3-6 seasons sounds just about good for me, if they keep up with the good episodes. Since we already are going to have an 8th Season, I'd say a 9th Season should be the last one if all of the episodes take a plummet down to where the bad episodes are.

But man, if it lasted as long as Simpsons...I don't know what I'd say. The show would be very different. I don't know what I could expect to see from them if it lasted for 22+ seasons.

Ya, as long as it becomes the longest running Nick show of all-time, I'll be happy.
