    Did the first Spongebob episode, "Help Wanted/Reef Blower/Tea at the Treedome" aired on May 1, 1999?

    I think so. It should be on the episode guide. It was either May or June during the Kids Choice Awards 1999.

    I think it pre-aired in May, but officially premiered in July.
