It's now midnight in the east coast, so that means that May 1st has finally arrived. That's right, today's the tenth anniversary of which the pilot episode, "Help Wanted / Reef Blower / Tea at the Treedome" premiered on Nickelodeon after the Kids' Choice Awards 1999! Even though the show didn't officially premiere until July 17 (which is when Nickelodeon and I will be celebrating it), that doesn't mean we should let a minor technicality stop us from partying...I mean...discussing our square heads off!

I'm definitely gonna rock n' roll all night and play some FFVII knowing that today is SpongeBob's Tenth Anniversary! Wow, hard to believe it's already been ten years since it's very first episode premiered which were a triple pair of episodes, and we all got to see SpongeBob, Patrick, Mr. Krabs, Squidward, Gary, and Sandy's very first appearances ever! We also got to see the anchovies and SpongeBob get the Hydro-Dynamic Spatula, with port and starboard attachments, and a turbo drive! That was the only episode that showed it too, and HW/RB/TatT was the only episode that showed three episodes at a time until season 5, but no way could season 5 ever beat the original first season classic one!
Well anyway, Happy Tenth Anniversary SpongeBob! Whoo-hoo! Okay everybody let's all party beyond the partying limits tonight! YEAH!!!!! Nathan's got the party over at his blog too.

well after 10 years i think i've become one of the biggest spongebob fans ever, and lots of others are too, there are lots of people tied for the honorable roll of SB's #1 fan and congrats to them
