If you want to reinstate the old spongebob then go to petitionspot.com and sign the petition "GET SPONGEBOB'S VOICE BACK" the petition is aimed at that one characteristic (his new shrill voice)but explains why the show is going down hill in ratings because the writers have given spongebob a completely different personality that is neither funny nor entertaining, but completely annoying! If you want to put spongebob back on top sign the petition and tell Nickelodeon what you want to see in future spongebob episodes not what the network thinks you want to see. Changing up the show was one of the biggest mistakes the network made. After such episodes like "Karate Island" and "Sing a song of Patrick" (etc.) the shows ratings drastically:
