    I sort of agree. It isn't that bad.

    And I agree with you! Really, let's not get tense here, everyone has different opinions, and really c'mon now, some of these episodes are just too gross for some us. Gift of Gum some of us here thought the gum was pretty nasty with all that trash on it and rotten food. Wouldn't you be grossed out seeing something like that in your room in real life? And its not just what we think are gross features in the episode, it could also have to do with a poor written plot, bad scripting, out of character, heavy character misfortunes, etc.

    But I will say this episode was pretty mild with the grossness and not that bad, FAU and TBoBB were much worse, and personally, I don't see how anyone can not think they are too nasty. And yes The Splinter I only thought was gross at the ending when Spongebob's thumb was all swelled up.

    In conclusion, Gift of Gum wasn't that gross in my opinion, just that scene with the gum in SpongeBob's room. But the ending seemed kinda bad and pointless because everyone and the whole town get covered in gum all over the place. The gum just kept expanding and expanding and never stopped. It just seemed hopeless. I'm just saying I would have liked it better if there wasn't that gross scene or two and the ending was better and SB and Patrick laughed together and the town was clean. Is where I'm getting at.

    i'm entitled to an opinion you know. kind of like how you hate chocolate with nuts for some strange reason. i hate the gift of gum. it was poorly written and gummy was covered in trash, rotten food, and dirty underwear.
