Let's discuss all of season 1 here. For starters, what did you think of the season. I thought it was great especially the episode with the suds.

It started out a little stale, but as the season went on, we started to see MAJOR improvement, especially with the "Rock Bottom" episode!

Wow, I thought this would get more attention. Many people must hate season 1.

I loved Season 1. The only thing that sucked was the animation wasn't so clear then, but the plots were very funny and well thought out. This season is definetly underrated

The first few episodes weren't very good. They made a huge improvement as of "Pizza Delivery" but the show didn't reach greatness (imo) until the second season.

Season 1 may not be the funniest season, but I love it because it's classic...the animation was nice and simple, the characters were still pretty tame, and it was just a fun season in general...it was focused a lot on the whole "underwater" aspect of the show, which I love. from Season 2 on it seems like every season they started to focus less on the underwater premise of the show. In Season 1, almost every episode was centered around underwater. Now, hardly any episodes even mention they're underwater. I think Season 1 is really underrated...a lot of the episodes were completely brilliant. "Rock Bottom", "Pizza Delivery", "F.U.N.", "Argh!", "Culture Shock", "Ripped Pants", "Suds", "Bubblestand", "Sleepy Time", and "Scaredy Pants" are all really great episodes!

Most episodes now seem to more likely to take place ABOVE WATER than under it.

Yeah I agree. Although I think Seasons 2 and 3 are overall better then Season 1, I liked how Season 1 made sure EVERYTHING fit with the underwater theme.
