Normally, one would be wasting his time dwelling on the plotlines in SpongeBob. But if SpongeBob was able to remove most of the clarinet from Squidward's throat, why would they need a "fantastic voyage" to remove the reed? The ending I didn't like.

Or they could've just made a deal with Plankton and send him down there. Then they wouldn't have to waste time with technology.

I gave it an F. Come on writers!!! You can do better than that!! It wasn't funny. Not funny at all....not even a chuckle....not even a giggle got out of me during this entire episode. I miss Mr.Lawrence's episode writing..... And anyway I'm a band geek and I know that the whole mouthpiece was cought down in his throught. The reed is a small sliver of wood that you put in the mouthpiece and it helps the clarinet make sound. Therefore the episode was both unamusing and not right. Burn. That's for the writers....not the voices.....I love the voice peoples......very much.

I'm a band geek too, but I play percussion. I also play the pianw.

Ooh! And I forgot to mention that the plot is basically a copy of that episode of, "The Magic School Bus". Where that kid accidentally swallows a piece of gum and they go inside of him to get it out. They are horrified to find they are stuck inside him. So they get him to drink a soda and burp them out. See? It's exactly the same except instead of gum it's a mouth piece. I stick to my theory that the entire mouth piece was stuck in his throat so there. Shame on you writers! Copying a educational cartoon! That's just not right.

There are a lot of episodes of shows that involve shrinking, you know and Squidtastic Voyage didn't copy anything (including Magic School Bus), it paradied the 1966 film, Fantastic Voyage (look this up at IMDB or Wikipedia to see the film's plot and compare it to Squidtastic Voyage).

Hence the title, Squidtastic Voyage. And yes, a lot of shows have parodied it.

Sorry about that! I didn't know that movie existed. I'm too stupid to know these things!
