What is your opinion on this episode? I liked the action scenes, but the ending was mass confusion I gotta take the reviewers' word for it; why didn't Plankton steal the formula when he was taking Mr. Krabs' place? That was an opportunity knocking at the door right there. Overall, I'd give the eppy an 8/10.

Howdy! Where did you watch this episode? I didn't watched this when it aired because I'm too busy in school. Is there any site where can I watch this?

    9.2/10.

I love, love, LOVE, this episode.

It makes no sense, it's completely retarded, therefore I love it!

Well, I don't like this episode at all, especially the part where Patrick uses the knockout ray on Sandy, 'cause Sandy's my favorite character and I hate to see anything bad happen to her. Does anybody think that part should be cut out? Please let me know.

i LOVED this episode. It was full of slapsticks and the jokes were brilliant. I loved the part where they were trying to stalk Plankton with the magnifying glass and Plankton caught on fire xD I adore the ending. It was super hilarious and made no sense at all

It wasn't the funniest or the best, it was just slightly above average IMO.

No, I would cut out millions of television scenes before that one. Just because something bad happens to a character you like doesn't mean it should be banned.

Anyway great episode, it provided many laughs and wit, although I think the plot had more potential. One of the better Season 5 episodes.

I understand, but it hurts me just as much as it hurts Sandy. If I could, I would cut it out myself.

Well, I'm ranking it as one of the WORST Season 5 episodes. And the one I'm ranking as the number one worst Spongebob episode is "Someone's in the Kitchen with Sandy".

Not a bad post-movie episode. I quite liked it, in fact.

This episode is one of those rare good episodes in the Bad Cartoon Era. Spy Buddies is when Patrick and Spongebob go spying on Plankton, who is really Mr. Krabs in disguise, helping " Mr. Krabs", who is really Plankton in his Imitation Krabs Robo-Suit. It really got mind-boggling at the end of this episode.

Not to change the subject or anything, but I have a theory that the part with Patrick looking through a straw was stolen from the Pinky and the Brain episode "To Russia With Lab Mice". Just to prove my case, the trademark James Bond gun barrel sequence was parodied in that episode with Brain turning and saying "Pinky, stop singing!" and then it showed Pinky looking through a small telescope. The part in "Spy Buddies" where the James Bond gun barrel sequence is parodied with Spongebob turning with a spatula and then it shows Patrick looking through a straw. Does anybody think that Nickelodeon stole this idea from the Pinky and the Brain episode "To Russia With Lab Mice", or was it just a coincidence?

Well, the same joke was also used by other shows, so I guess they didn't do it on purpose.

Well, yeah, but the resemblance in the way the idea was used in "Spy Buddies" (SBSQ) and "To Russia With Lab Mice" (P&TB) is striking.
